Vintage American Cane Chaise from the Late 19th Century by Heywood Wakefield

This distinct chaise was made by the Heywood Wakefield Company in the 19th century. It has an original red painted caned top and a black painted base. The frame features ribbed and turned stretchers and legs around an open apron. The back is fixed in place, with a gentle curve. The original label still attached (see photo).
