Set of 6 Louis XVI Style Green Painted and Carved dining chairs. Oval medallion back with green velvet upholstery framed with brass nailheads. Elegant detail in the ribbon and reed carving all around the chair backs and a gold gilt painted carved ribbon at the peak. Front round legs are tapered, fluted & reeded, and connect to the frame via plinth blocks carved with gold floral rosettes. The back legs are squared but have a nice curve to complement the overall design. Beautiful detail and patina. Very sturdy and comfortable chairs.

Condition: Chair frames, carving, and structure are in excellent condition. The paint has a beautiful finish consistent with age.
The upholstery has some white marks on the seats that might be able to clean. Several chairs need to restore the underside cushion spring support which could be done at the same time as reupholstered.
